Carved from an ancient piece of Bog Oak, discovered beneath the ground where it has rested for possibly a millennia. The form follows the natural shape of the exterior, the remains of the tree bark curled up around a tree knot. In contrast to the rough exterior the inside has been hollowed out and burnished to a reflective shine that reveals the rich tones. From black to deep brown, the grain swirls around the centre.
Resting on three prongs, the light Ripple Sycamore base sits poised upon its four corners, framing the black Oak.
